Holiday Self Care
This has been a quick year! Wow!!!As we go through the holiday season and close 2018, I want to share three self-care techniques that I am using to keep me balanced.1st, Meditation and Music2nd, Sleep3rd, Learn#1 I use the App, Insight Timer to guide me through my meditations. I love this App because it fits any time frame you have available, even if you just have 60 seconds to stop and focus. Sometimes I listen to just to the music to help me relax, sometimes I put on a specific guided meditation to help my mood. Make sure you're getting enough this time of year, even though there are many tasks to accomplish. Create your lists, organize, and use your time wisely during the day so you can feel accomplished and then shut down at the end of each day.#3 Learn, Since I'm in my car a great deal, I listen to books in the car through the Audible.com App. I also use the Podcast App on my phone. The newest Podcast I'm listening to and I'm excited to share with you is the Climb Everyday Podcast! It's brand new! This is one of my fellow Toastmaster's, Mark Steel- his 1st Podcast!
